SKS Microfinance Welcomes New Chief Operating Officer, Mr. MR Rao
|
Hyderabad, INDIA - SKS
Microfinance welcomed financial services veteran, MR Rao, as its new
Chief Operating Officer today. MR brings more than 17 years of
experience in the financial services sector.
SKS Founder and CEO, Vikram Akula, remarked, �we are excited to
bring MR on as the new Chief Operating Officer of SKS. He not only
brings a wealth of experience to the job, but also arrives in the
midst of our rapid expansion. MR will fill a critical role that will
enable SKS to successfully meet its ambitious growth goals.�
MR has had extensive exposure to retail lending operations at
companies including American Express, Infocom Network Ltd., Standard
Chartered Bank, Esanda Finanz & Leasing Ltd., Instyle Consumer
Leasing, and DCL Finance Ltd. Prior to joining SKS, MR worked at ING
Vysya Life Insurance, where he headed the Alternate Channels
division.
Regarding his new role, MR noted, "I am personally excited to join
SKS Microfinance as COO. Vikram has shared the company�s growth
plans with me, and I am very excited to contribute to this effort. I
