While credit for Micro-enterprise has been the anchor of microfinance, SKS knows that it is not just enough. Therefore, SKS provides quality English medium primary education to children of rural India at very low costs through the Bodhi Academy, it ensures better health for children across rural India through mass scale immunisation and deworming programmes. For the destitute sections of society who do not have even the social collateral to access microfinance, SKS manages the Ultra Poor Programme through its NGO.
