Recruitment Manager

Job Title: Recruitment Manager Location: Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh Reports To: VP of HR

Job Summary: The Recruitment manager builds and manages a small recruiting team to provide support for the company’s recruitment processes. (S) He partners with internal clients (managers) to build, refine, and standardize recruitment processes across the organization. This individual provides recruitment tools, training, and support to managers as necessary. Additionally, (s) he is heavily involved in recruiting key positions in the Head Office.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with management to define talent/staffing needs.
  • Collaborate with HR and business managers to develop recruitment strategies to achieve required staffing objectives. Conceptualize, develop, promote and implement recruitment and staffing processes and tools. 
  • Provide recruitment training to managers. 
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment process for key head office positions. Ensure that candidates are appropriately screened and qualified applicants are referred to hiring managers for interviews. Ensure appropriate communications / follow-up with applicants. Manage internal applicant process. 
  • Ensure consistent recruitment processes for all positions. 
  • Actively recruit for job candidates from a wide range of sources to include web sites, universities and colleges, specialized organizations, newspapers and technical publications, personal contacts in a related field, competitors, and non-profit organizations. Make cold calls and outreach to entice potential candidates to apply for key positions at SKS. Cultivate positive relationships to help maintain network pool of interested/potential employees. 
  • Manage SKS’s on-campus recruitment process. 
  • Provide support in implementing new staff orientation as needed.
  • Maintain careful tracking logs of candidate data, contacts, documents and accurate records on recruiting / staffing activities.

  • Good analytical skills, judgment and ability to make independent decisions informed by both quantitative and qualitative data. 
  • Ability to work with minimal direction. Self-starter. 
  • Strong work ethic and a professional image combined with high standards of excellence. Tenacity, creativity, initiative, and drive balanced with flexibility and adaptability. 
  • Good interpersonal, relationship management, customer service, and rapport building skills. 
  • Strong communication, organizational, evaluation, and negotiation skills. Solid business and human resource acumen. Ability to influence and build credibility and confidence at all levels. 
  • Ability to manage people effectively. 
  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task, delegate, and proactively resolve problems. 
  • Demonstrated potential to take initiative in helping the business build a growing organization. 
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and Internet. 
  • Proficiency or ability to quickly gain proficiency in SKS software applications. 
  • Recruiting experience with strong Internet sourcing skills required. Experience in behavioral interviewing strongly preferred.
  • Skilled at developing and implementing creative recruiting solutions. Ability to understand and articulate a hiring manager's resource requirements, culture and other compatibility issues that are critical to making a successful hire. 
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain candidate relationships. 
  • Thorough knowledge of the entire recruiting life cycle coupled with high candidate presentation to offer acceptance ratios. Ability to keep good recruiting statistics. 
  • Excellent reading and writing skills in English and Hindi required. Good knowledge of regional languages is strongly preferred.
  • Able and willing to travel extensively, including to remote rural areas.
     
Required Education and Experience:
  • Post-graduate degree or equivalent experience required. Specialization in Human Resources is strongly preferred.
  • Minimum five years of experience required, experience managing recruitment strongly preferred.
