Deworm The World has tied up with SKS NGO and SKS Microfinance to provide deworming tablets to 1 million children of 5 to 15 years age in Andhra Pradesh state in Southern India. While DTW helps fund the programme, SKS Microfinance uses its village-level network to distribute the tablets with support and assistance from Government PHCs. The SKS NGO is supporting the programme. In Phase 1, three districts in Andhra Pradesh - Kurnool, Adilabad and Warangal - will be covered under the programme. Feed the Children, a US-based voluntary organisation, has donated the tablets to SKS in Phase 1.
