SKS
microfinance program has made remarkable strides in 2001-02.
We attribute this success to the peer-lending model and to our
well-trained and dedicated field staff, who exercise the right
degree of compassion and control. SKS staff go beyond
formulaic thinking to make sure that our members use SKS
services in a way that enables them to earn profits, build
assets, and lift themselves out of poverty.
